MISSION/GOAL
Shreerang Education Society’s Shreerang Vidyalaya English Medium aims to impart sound education in all its aspects according to the prescribed syllabus laid down by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education. Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities of varied nature are also given equal importance for achieving the all round development of the pupils.
Knowledge of our school is bright like sunrays and such shield of knowledge will help the students to achieve success in their life as well as to protect our culture.
RECOGNITION / SCHOOL AID
The school is recognised upto Std IV by the Education Department of Thane Municipal Corporation and from V to X by Education Department, Zilla Parishad, Thane.
The School has received recognition from the Government of Maharashtra through the above bodies and caters to the Secondary School Certificate of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The School is permanently unaided and run by the Trust of Shreerang Education Society, Thane.
SCHOOL COMMITTEE
Every division/section run by Shreerang Education Society comprises of a School Committee which runs for one academic year. The School Committee is responsible to the governing body and the government for the management of the schools. There are different School Committees for each sections and has the following members.
(Total Seven Members).
- Chairman of the School Committee- One member from the elected body of the Trust.
- Secretary of the School Committee- The Headmistress/Incharge of the School.
- Members of the School Committee- a) Three members from the elected body of the Trust
- Teaching Staff representative from the School (in rotation).
- Non-Teaching staff representaive from the School (in rotation).
In addition to the School Committee, the Trust has a Co-ordination Committee for all the schools conducted by the society. The decisions of the School Committee in regard to its various functions are subject to ratification by the Co-ordination Committee (parent body).
TEACHERS
The School has on its teaching staff a team of qualified teachers who train the students for all round development.
