Yoga Day
The International Yoga Day was on 31st June 2016.
The students of Shreerang Vidyalaya (Eng. Med.) celebrated ‘Yoga Day’.
Children were explained the importance of yoga and its benefits that yoga helps in maintaining not only physical and mental health but also improves concentration and boost confidence.
Children were mode to do some yoga exercises such as streching , bending , Omkar etc., children took interest in it and responded to it.

The Academic year starts with the celebration of Ashadhi Ekadashi. All students wear white kurta Pyjama and walk the symbolic journey along with the palki.

Navratri celebration
Garba is arranged for the children in the playroom. All children wear colourful dress and enjoy playing Garba.
Diwali Celebration
Diwali the festival of lights. Children‘s faces are light up as they bring Diyas, cards, Lanterns as a part of project. In return they go home with a diwali gift from school. This year Dish was given to all the children as gift through school. A small programme explaining importance of all the five days of Diwali was shown in the grilled Hall.
Christmas Celebration and the joy of giving week
The most awaited Santa Claus comes with a bag of goodies spreading the message of joy of giving.
This year slice cake was given to all the chidren. All children wore red colour dresses and procession with Santa was taken from gate to grilled Hall. A christmas tree was also decorated. Snowman was made. Parents also denoted generously for the poor and needy children.
Children sang christmas carol and danced on the tunes of christmas song.

During christmas week parents generously donate gifts for needy children in the charity box kept at school.
Then school donates these gifted items to the orphanage or to the poor and needy children.

It is the festival of colours. A small tika of colour is applied to children as a token of Holi colour.

Gudi Padwa
It is the first day of the New Year according to the Hindu calendar. Gudi Padwa .
On Gudi Padwa, a gudi was hanging out in corridor of school. Gudi was a yellow cloth adorned with brocade tied to the tip of a long bamboo over which sugar, neem leaves, a twig of mango leaves and a garland of red flowers was tied. A copper pot was placed in the inverted position over it. so that everybody can see it.

1. Bunny Tamtola
Information of Bunny Tamtola Activity
Bunny Tantola is a first level of ‘Scout and Guide’ for 3 to 6 years of students.
Shreerang Vidyalaya Pre-Primary Secion (Eng, Med,) conducted Bunny Tamtola Activity.
Bunny means children.
Tamtola means a Group.
In Bunny Tamtola Activity children will learn together in a group.
Aim of Bunny Tamtola is ‘Keep smiling’ and make children active physically, mentally And responsible , capeble citizens of tomorrow.

2. Medical Camp
Shreerang Vidyalaya Pre –Primary Section (Eng. Med.) conducts Medical checkups every month (Inclusive of Vision,Dental, Hearing and physical examination).
After medical check up we provide descriptive medical report to individual student. This helps parents to understand the health of their child.

Fruits were brought by children. Children were taught to recognise the fruits,and how to wash and cut the fruits. How to mix the fruits along with sugar.

How to mix the different ingredients to make Bhel, how to cut onion, tomato and mix chutney etc. Children enjoyed Bhel Activity.
